Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Harmelix Music website, store and online audio services. By browsing this site, placing an order or otherwise engaging with Harmelix Music, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. Please read this document carefully and keep a copy for your records.
By accessing or using the Harmelix Music platform, you confirm that you are at least eighteen years of age, or that you are using the service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. If you do not agree with any part of this document, you must not use the site or purchase any service offered through it.
These Terms apply to every visitor, customer and registered user of Harmelix Music. They constitute the entire agreement between you and Harmelix Music regarding your use of the service and supersede any prior understandings, whether written or verbal, relating to the same subject matter.
Harmelix Music is an online studio providing professional audio services, including but not limited to music production, mixing and mastering, songwriting, music lessons, content-creator audio solutions, audio editing, digital music products, artist development and consulting, and ongoing subscription plans. Services are delivered remotely through digital file transfer, scheduled sessions and written communication.
We continuously refine and expand our offering. We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend or discontinue any service, feature or price at any time without prior notice. Where a change affects an order you have already placed and paid for, we will honor the terms in effect at the time of your purchase or contact you to agree on a fair resolution.
When you place an order, you agree to provide accurate, complete project details, including references, specifications and any source material required for delivery. The scope of work — including deliverables, revision allowance and turnaround time — is defined at the point of order or in subsequent written communication. Work that falls outside the agreed scope may be subject to additional charges, agreed in advance.
- You are responsible for supplying usable source files, stems or recordings where the service requires them.
- Delays in providing feedback, materials or approvals may extend the agreed delivery timeline.
- Each service includes a defined number of revisions; further revisions may incur additional fees.
- Project files are prepared and delivered in standard industry formats unless otherwise agreed.
All prices are listed in United States dollars and reflect the service as described. Payment is due in full before work begins unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing. We may require a deposit for larger or custom projects. Prices displayed on the site are subject to change, but any confirmed and paid order will be completed at the agreed price.
You agree to pay all charges associated with your order, including any applicable taxes. If a payment is declined, reversed or charged back without valid cause, we reserve the right to suspend delivery, withhold files and pursue any amounts owed through appropriate means.
Ownership and usage rights for delivered work depend on the specific service and any licensing terms attached to it. Unless an exclusive transfer of rights is expressly agreed and paid for, Harmelix Music retains underlying authorship and the right to use non-exclusive or demonstrative material. Detailed terms governing beats, instrumentals and licensed products are set out in our separate Licensing Agreement.
All website content — including text, design, branding, graphics and code — is the property of Harmelix Music and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute any part of the site without prior written permission.
You warrant that any material you provide to us does not infringe the rights of any third party and that you hold all necessary rights and permissions to use it. You agree to use our services lawfully and not to commission work intended for any illegal, deceptive or harmful purpose. You remain solely responsible for how delivered work is used after it leaves our studio.
Each project includes a stated revision allowance. Revision requests must be reasonable, specific and within the originally agreed scope. Once you approve a final deliverable, or once a reasonable approval window has passed without response, the project is considered complete. Additional changes after final approval may be treated as a new request and charged accordingly.
Harmelix Music provides its services with professional care, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific service.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. In such cases our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel an order or suspend access to the platform where these Terms are breached, where conduct is abusive or unlawful, or where a project cannot reasonably be completed. Where we cancel an order through no fault of yours, any applicable refund will be handled in line with our Refund Policy.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located within that state, except where applicable consumer-protection law grants you rights in your own place of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology or legal obligations. The current version is always available on this page, marked with its effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this document periodically.
